About

Hi, I’m Abby Duffy — a 21 year old blind alpine ski racer working toward a spot on Team USA for the 2026 Paralympics. I lost my vision at age six due to Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON), but that hasn’t stopped me from pushing forward. I started skiing at age nine and immediately knew it was something I wanted to pursue. I have competed on the Concord High School, NH ski team, New England College ski team, and in national races in Winter Park, CO and Park City, Utah. Now, I’m training with my guide Chris, competing across the U.S. and Canada. Along with my athletic journey, I’m also a triple major in Psychology, Criminal Justice, and History at New England College. I’m passionate about advocating for people with disabilities and breaking down barriers, whether on the slopes or in other areas of life. My goal is to show that no challenge is too big to overcome — and that the journey is just as important as the destination.
